Dick Cheney, who served as the United States as secretary and chief of staff during the presidency and also in Congress has been a great servant to our nation. Cheney is a man with integrity who is respected by Republicans and Democrats. Cheney has said that the role he plays in the administration as that of an open and honest advisor to Bush. Cheney said that when he accepted the Republican nomination to vice-president Cheney was looking forward to being a part of a president who would work with all parties in order to accomplish his goals. He will cooperate with opposition members in confidence. Richard Bruce Cheney is the son Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born on January 30, 1941, at Lincoln Nebraska. In 1941, when Richard Bruce Cheney turned 13, he and his family relocated from Lincoln Nebraska to Casper Wyoming in the state where his father headed Casper Wyoming, where his father was the director of U.S. Department of Agriculture's regional soil conservation districts.
